The History of Missing Pieces
Founded in 2003 this trio of East Coast transplants have appeared at such southern California clubs as: Blind Melon's- Pacific Beach, Ca. The Copa- Pacific Beach, Ca. RT's Longboard Grill- Pacific Beach, Ca. Janannigans Coffehouse- San Diego, Ca. Kelly's Pub- San Diego, Ca. Canes- Mission Beach, Ca.
As soon as the east coast transplants arrived in California they starting jamming. Charlie and Shanin would gather weekly to jam in P.B just for fun. In January they started playing open mic nights all over San Diego, and compiling new and old songs. They figured since it was just the two of them they were "Missing Pieces". Last month Charlie contacted an old friend (Ron) and told him to come out and jam with them at Blind Melons. He came out and the trio jammed an extended set. The profound musical and interpersonal connection was instantaneous. From that night on they were officially Missing Pieces and have been playing together ever since. Since all of their musical influences and preferences are similar, their musical and songwriting styles blend smoothly.

Musical Stylings
Missing Pieces seemlessly integrates originals with time tested classics into a psychedelic acoustic stew. The first album combines songs that Shanin and Charlie wrote seperately with songs they composed together.
